Founders Julian Sarrola (22, University of Michigan), Henry Quilici (22, University of Southern California), Matt Sarrola (20, Windward School), Olivia Khalili (20, Windward School) reside in Los Angeles, California . They have all spent numerous summers in Morocco visiting relatives, and enjoying the regions natural beauty. A passion to aid Moroccan children was born of these trips, and this past summer they decided to meet with the directors of the schools in Bin el Ouidane to see what they could personally donate.What they found was so shocking that they were moved to action. Unable to simply ignore the decrepit conditions of the area’s two schools and the lack of updated study materials, the teens organized Bin el Ouidane non-profit organization upon their return to the States. They are each intensely dedicated to propagating learning, and feel compelled to bring attention to the educational needs of Moroccan children.
